Verne workflow creates one or more review tasks when a service requires review by an internal user or team. Verne provides a task management system, known as the Work Queue, for the general management and processing of these tasks.
All internal users will be given access to the Work Queue as part of the baseline configuration. A review task will automatically appear on an internal user’s Work Queue when the task is allocated to their team.
The Work Queue provides internal users with the ability to keep track of and manage applications awaiting review. On selection of an application, an internal user will be able to initiate the Verne Workflow Internal Review Phase, to process the application appropriately.
The Verne work queue supports the assignment of tasks to teams or team members. Services to bulk assign, allocate or approve tasks are available to internal users with the appropriate permission. This allows the work to be allocated to the relevant user or team.
An interactive task list provides each user with a view of outstanding tasks, allowing them to select, update and complete tasks online. Registry staff can create and send correspondence on-demand. Staff select a correspondence template as the basis for a document and may edit the correspondence body prior to its delivery by email, printing or fax.
On submission of the application, a defined workflow will trigger tasks to notify internal staff of the application, prompting them to review the application and to approve or reject it.
