permission group is a collection internal users who share the same responsibilities and therefore the same access permissions on the Register. A permission group can contain zero or more permissions as well as zero or more internal users. An internal user can belong to zero or more permission groups. If an internal user does not belong to any permission group, then they will not be able to access any functionality on the Register apart form viewing and maintaining their own user profile. Permission group can only contain permission defined in the Internal user permission pool (PP04).

  • Avatar
  • Code – a unique code for the permission, e.g. PG07
  • Name – name of the permission, e.g. Customer service
  • Description – descriptive text explaining the purpose of the permission group
  • Status – Active or Inactive
  • Set of permissions
  • Set of internal users

Permission groups management features

Permission groups can be designed and seeded before the project goes life, as well as managed on a live register. Internal users with appropriate permissions are able to:

  • Search permission groups
  • Export permission groups data into Excel
  • View, add or remove permissions from the permission group
  • View, add or remove users from the permission group
