Windows
Find Magellan in Settings > Apps and click Uninstall.
In some rare cases Magellan may fail to uninstall properly which may prevent subsequent installs from completing. If you find yourself unable to install Magellan this may be the case and you may need to perform the following extra steps:
- Open task manager and make sure you have no
Javaprocesses running. If there are anyjavaprocesses listed you - You must
End Taskuntil they are all gone. - Search for and permanently delete any and all
Magellanfolders inC:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Programs\andC:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\ - Optionally reboot your computer.
NOTE: If you have Magellan entries still listed under Settings > Apps and when you attempt to uninstall them Windows throws an error this means that Magellan is uninstalled but there is still a registry entry for it (this can happen if the uninstall fails to complete properly).
In this case you can ignore the entry or optionally edit the Windows registry to remove the entry, however this is a dangerous process that may render your machine unusable so it is recommended you contact your technical support to do this for you.
macOS
