Scripting troubleshooting
All test written in the test framework will use labels and variables. If for some reason the tests are failing are due to changes on the label for specific elements on the screen or an incorrect variable used. Labels are case sensitive so make sure to follow the same standards everywhere.
If for some reason the error you are looking is not related to a label please make sure to check scripting error dictionry
- Identify the line that fails on the test and check that the steps are correct.
- Login into the application and validate that the label exists
- Reproduce the steps manually.
if you still have a problem with the step please contact the configurator that initially created the work.
Eventually, you can copy the screenshot to the clipboard and paste it on a defect/email to communicate your issue with the configurator. To do this press Copy the screenshot into Clipboard.
